The 1st Edition of the "Malária nos PALOP" Conference took place on April 25th, 2023, in hybrid format, hosted on site by Universidade Jean Piaget de Cabo Verde (UniPiaget de Cabo Verde). The Conference, with the theme “O paludismo nos PALOP: Da híper- endemia à eliminação” (The malaria in the PALOP: From hyper-endemic to elimination), hosted several researchers and representatives of national malaria control programs from PALOP to talk about the malaria situation in their respective countries. The event was attended online and on site by over a hundred people from countries across Africa, America and Europe.
